A Girl Scout Bronze Award is the highest honor a Junior (Girl Scout in grades four or five) can earn by completing a project with over 20 hours of work to help their community. Our Bronze Award project is to create School Supply Shacks to make free school supplies easily available to all students, regardless of their family resources. We are stocking the Shacks with supplies from the Bloomington Public Schools official supply list. Our troop will also be storing these supplies in a separate location so that we can restock the Shacks monthly throughout the whole school year, and hopefully for years to come. We created an Amazon wishlist with these items so that the community can donate to help keep the projects stocked.
